That is perfectly understandable since that is the main reason so many tourists visit here but there is another side to the island that offers so much more than just night life – which may come as a surprise to some.

When looking for things to do while vacationing in Ibiza you will have various options which can include anything from visiting stunning Spanish beaches, exploring quiet little towns, checking out various cultural spots, engaging in nature related activities and a small number of easy to reach nearby places of interest that is well worth checking out. Take a day trip to Formentera

Formentera is a nearby island and even though it’s not part of Ibiza it’s still a great place to see because of it’s beauty and ease of access from Ibiza. Getting there should take roughly 40 minutes by boat but may take a bit longer depending on water conditions. Once there you are able to rent a bicycle and explore the small Spanish island for the day. The beaches as well as waters surrounding Formentera are often compared by many to those found in the Caribbean.

If you head to Ronda Narcis Putget on Ibiza you will be able to visit the Museum of Contemporary art. Here you will find various types and pieces of modern art from a number of local artists.
